The SMWS Heresy Collection is a series of small-batch whiskies produced by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society (SMWS). This collection is known for its unique and experimental approach to whisky blending, often pushing the boundaries of traditional whisky-making. The Heresy series includes a variety of expressions, such as blended malts and single malts, each with distinct flavour profiles and cask influences.
These releases have been very popular with our SA members, to the point they are usually the first to sell out. After the last Heresy release we had, Shimmering Silk sold out so quickly, we asked HQ in Edinburgh if they had anymore we could buy. That lead to Operation: Heresy, a special order of Heresy-only releases, never intended for SA and air-freighted to get to you in time for the holidays!
Three of the four have been available before, one (Smokus Fruticosus) was never destined for SA, and all of them are the last remaining bottles available for purchase.
We hope this goes a little way in providing some festive cheer and getting you the whiskies you want!
IMPORTANT NOTICE
To share the whisky love as widely as possible, each Member will be limited to purchase only one of the four bottles in a 24 hour cycle. After that, you will be able to buy one bottle of a second expression, for the next 24 hours, and so on. We hope this makes sense, and is supported in an effort to give all interested Members a fair chance to get 1-2 bottles in the order of their own personal preference.
