SCOTCH MALT WHISKY SOCIETY
Established in 1983, SMWS is an international whisky club with over 28,000 members in 20 countries, and provides its members with exclusive whiskies, events, content and venue access.
The Society is the largest independent bottler of whisky in the world, having released whiskies from over 145 different malt whisky distilleries, as well as dozens of grain whisky, Cognac, Armagnac, rum and gin producers from around the world.
SA CHAPTER
SMWS South Africa is now the home for local lovers of the SMWS and offers regular outturns, events and tastings (COVID permitting) to its growing list of members from across the country.
