SPIRIT NOTES
An extremely expressive neat nose that implied white and yellow flowers, rose water, sandalwood, Turkish delight, tiger balm and dried lavender. Weighty distillate but also elegant and complex. Reduction brought notes of new leather, cough medicines, pulpy waxes and citrus rinds. A wonderfully expressive dram we thought. The neat palate displayed an initial richness with lemon jelly, pineapple syrup, peach schnapps and melon balls. Water brought white stone fruits, lychee cordial and elderflower champagne. Also some dried fruit notes of apricot and sultana.
