SPIRIT NOTES
We all smiled like Cheshire cats as pleasing aromas of peaches and cream pie with a hint of cinnamon, lemon drizzle cake, apricot ice cream soda and vanilla cupcakes were on offer in abundance. That was seamlessly followed on the palate by a lovely sweet texture like a sip of an Apricot Fizz cocktail (apricot brandy, lemon juice and superfine sugar strained into a Collins glass, add ice cubes and finally club soda). Water added sunshine and morning freshness with scones and cinnamon butter, while the taste was that of a fresh croissant dipped into a café crème – c’est si bon!
