SPIRIT NOTES
A curiously aromatic nose agreed the panel, one which suggested citrus fabric softeners, wool, a fresh pack of printer paper and sunflower oil. In time it opened up to become greener and fresher with cut grass, chopped parsley, nettles and lime. A perfectly chiselled Loire sauvignon. Reduction brought more fabrics, linens, cereals and under-ripe green fruits. Hints of sandalwood and dried flowers too. The mouth opened with the sweetness of pick n' mix sweeties, barley water, cereals dusted with icing sugar and some more savoury touches from white miso and rice cakes. Water added apple juice, crushed ivy, moss, ferns, delicate ointments and things like lemon blossom, buttered toast and breakfast tea.
