SPIRIT NOTES
A robust profile at first nosing, one that was full of lanolin, lamp oil, pineapple jelly beans and aromatic spearmint. We also noted banana chips and crushed hazelnuts. Typically charismatic and a lot of fun. Reduction brought out candied citrus peels, crushed nettles, hessian and oily toolbox rags. A mix of mechanical and fruity! The neat palate showed a lovely malty sweetness at the outset, before opening up with lemon barley water, fruit salad chews, wintergreen and digestive biscuits. Some water brought out melon cordial, lime cheesecake, fruit salad juice and jasmine tea.
